Commercial Description:
Paraiso is the oldest expression in Barcardi's Facundo range of premium sipping rums. Aged initially in white oak, the rums are married and rested in French oak casks before bottling. Rich but not sweet with notes of nutmeg, sultanas and stem ginger, this is one to sip neat and savour.
TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Beautiful combination of rich, dark spices and fresh fruit. Green bananas, sweet vanilla and cinnamon.
PALATE
Rich but not sweet – lovely balance. A soft blanket of nutmeg and cinnamon with raisins, sultanas and stem ginger.
FINISH
Complex, rich, raisiny and delicious.
COMMENT
Such a sexy, decadent rum, with enough sweet spice to tempt you in, but not cloying. Beautiful balance and so classy.
